Motherhood: The Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon
May 10, 2013
Texans Can Academies have campuses all over Texas that provide schooling for students that have especially struggled in traditional schooling environments. To give back to the community that supports them, the local San Antonio Can High School students host an annual Motherhood: The Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon.
This year they will honor First Lady of Bexar County, Tracy Wolff, on Tuesday, May 14th at The Jack Guenther Pavilion at the Briscoe Western Art Museum (210 West Market Street). Along with a strong business background, Wolff has held leadership roles and served as an officer with numerous non-profit organizations in the San Antonio community. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will conclude around 1:00 p.m.
Along with the luncheon chair, Sonya Medina Williams, and vice-chair, Norma Reyes, two San Antonio Can students will also be featured as speakers. Tickets can be obtained by calling Development Director Marcy Andrade at 210.607.9720 or emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
