Experience one of San Antonio's most colorful, high-flying events at Fiesta San Antonio, a beloved area tradition for more a century. This year marks the 125th anniversary of the wild and wonderful occasion, so you can expect even more excitement from the parade and other activities.
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade began in 1891 to honor the heroes from the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Today, it's one of the largest celebrations in the country and it generates more than $285 million in revenue for the Alamo City. Approximately 3.5 million people attend Fiesta San Antonio each year, decked out in their brightest, more eye-catching costumes. Aside from the incredible parades like the Texas Cavaliers River Parade and the Battle of Flowers Parade, there are also live musical performances, Mexican cultural events, fashion shows and much more.
